Upstairs at the International Bar on Dublin’s South Wicklow Street, O’Hanlon was one of the three individuals who first established the International Comedy Cellar. The other two were Kevin Gildea and Barry Murphy. At the time, Dublin did not have a flourishing comedy scene.
