Chris Daughtry Biography and Career:

Christopher Adam Daughtry is the name Chris Daughtry was given at birth by his parents, Sandra and James Daughtry. At a very young age, he shown an interest in music, and at the age of sixteen, he began singing seriously, even going so far as to take guitar lessons from Matt Jagger and Mark Ebert.

In addition to performing for Brian Craddock and Matt Jagger, he did a set for his high school band, Cadence. His band, Absent Element, released an album called “Uprooted,” on which the songs “Conviction” and “Breakdown” were included. He was the primary vocalist and guitarist for the band.
