Elizabeth Holmes, an American entrepreneur who was the founder and CEO of the medical diagnostic business Theranos Inc. from 2003 until 2018, was born on February 3, 1984, in Washington, District of Columbia. She was given the title of the world’s youngest self-made woman billionaire in 2014, but by June of 2016, estimations of her net worth had dropped drastically due to severe doubts over the business operations of Theranos and her 50% interest in the firm.
