Fran Drescher Biography and Career:

As ‘Fran’ on ‘The Nanny’ (1993–1999), she gained fame for her distinctive nasal voice and heavy New York accent. After starring in ‘Saturday Night Fever’ in 1977, she went on to feature in ‘American Hot Wax’ and ‘Stranger in Our House’ the following year.
