John Sandford Biography and Career:

John Sandford is a pseudonym used by American novelist and journalist John Roswell Camp, also known as John Sandford. In 1986, Camp was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in journalism, and in 1980, he was one of four people who were considered for the award. Additionally, the American Society of Newspaper Editors bestowed its Distinguished Writing Award on him in the year 1985. He won this award.

As of the summer of 2022, Camp is the author of fifty-four books that have been published. All of these novels have been featured, in one form or another, on the New York Times best-seller lists, with several of them making their debut at number one.

In addition to the novels Prey, Virgil Flowers, and Letty Davenport, which are all set in the same universe as Prey, he is also the co-author of three young adult books in the Singular Menace series, written with Michele Cook, and he is the co-author of the science-fiction thriller Saturn Run, written with Ctein.
