Sandra Miju Oh is a Canadian actress who rose to fame for her performance as ‘Cristina Yang’ in the long-running and critically acclaimed television series ‘Grey’s Anatomy.’ Due to her outstanding performance in the series, she was nominated for two ‘Screen Actors Guild’ awards, a ‘Golden Globe award, and five ‘Emmy Award nominations for ‘Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.’

She appeared as a significant character in the American adolescent comedy film “Big Fat Liar,” which was released in 2002. She then went on to play a supporting character in the film “Full Frontal,” directed by Steven Soderbergh. She had a recurring role as “Rita Wu” in the hit comedy “Arliss” for six seasons. The first episode of the American comedy aired on HBO in 1996, and it remained on the network until 2002.

At the “La Jolla Playhouse,” she performed as one of the leads in the world premiere of Jessica Hagedorn’s play “Dogeaters.” The play addressed social, political, and cultural themes prominent in the Philippines during the 1950s. It took place during that period. In the American adolescent comedy-drama ‘Popular,’ in which Sandra portrayed a humanities instructor, she appeared as a guest star on many occasions.
