Bnxn Biography and Career:

Afro-fusion singer, songwriter, and record producer Daniel Benson (born 14 May 1997), also known as Bnxn (pronounced Benson) and formerly known as Buju,[1] is from Nigeria. He was conceived in Lagos. He is from the state of Akwa Ibom. He was formerly under contract with Burna Boy’s Spaceship Records. Prior to moving to Ogun State, he was raised with his family in Gbagada.

Under the direction of T.Y.E/EMPIRE, Buju’s extended play (EP), Sorry I’m Late, was published on October 27, 2021. It has production by Steph, Perlz, Denzl, Timi Jay, and Rexxie with guest appearances by The Cavemen, a Nigerian Highlife music duo. Vtek and Poppil handled the mixing and mastering.  It “projects confidence, wins, and comfort,” according to Motolani Alake of Pulse Nigeria.

On November 30, Buju’s Sorry I’m Late tour kicked off with his debut performance in London. Buju performed as the headlining act in his first sold-out show on December 22, 2021, which was also his first performance in Lagos.held in Lagos, at the Balmoral Convention Center.

Buju switched to BNXN as his legal name in 2022.Daniel Benson, an up-and-coming artist in the afrobeats genre, was born on May 19, 1997. After collaborating with rapper Zlatan Ibile to release Spiritual Remix in 2019, he gained notoriety. In February 2018, Catch A Vibe, his official debut song, was released. He gained new followers beyond his close pals as a result of the song’s ok commercial performance. He released a second song later that year called “A Day In Lagos.” As he became more well-known on Twitter and Soundcloud, this song performed better than his debut.

To keep up the momentum of his expanding renown, he released two additional songs that year: Aje and Balance It. Buju (BNXN), however, didn’t succeed in the market until 2019. This happened after he produced the single “Spiritual” and promoted it online. His marketing strategies were successful since the song spread quickly online.

In order to work with rapper Zlatan Ibile on the remix of the hit, he made the decision to do so. After being mentioned in the song’s video on social media for several weeks, Zlatan Ibile agreed to be featured on the song and uploaded the music on his accounts.

When the remix of Spiritual was published, it immediately went viral and made Buju (BNXN) famous.Buju (BNXNcollaboration )’s with Burna Boy in 2020 brought him good fortune once more. The Grammy Award winner became interested in working with Buju (BNXN) after hearing his song Lenu in the club. He then inked a recording contract with Burna Boy’s Spaceship Collective. In April 2021, after his contract with the label expired, he left and started his own music imprint, To Your Ears Entertainment.
