Carlos Santana Biography and Career:

This artist’s name has become synonymous with jazz, Latin, salsa, blues, and rock genres today – Carlos Santana. As a solo artist in the 1980s, he released several albums, including ‘Shango,’ ‘Beyond Appearances,’ and ‘Freedom,’ among others. Ritchie Valens’ life was depicted in the 1987 American film “La Bamba,” in which he provided the soundtrack.

With the help of his former bandmates and CBS Records, he put together an album entitled ‘Viva Santana!’ in 1988. He founded an all-instrumental band in the same year. After twenty-two years with Columbia Records, he got a new record deal with Polygram in 1990. His album sales were dismal in the early 1990s. His latest album, ‘Supernatural,’ was published in 1999, and it catapulted him back into the public eye.

When he published his first album, “Shaman,” in 2002, he also collaborated with other artists on albums like “Oral Fixation Vol. 2” and “All That I Am,” which mainly contained his collaborations with other musicians, as well as an album of his own. He traveled Europe over the next year with a variety of artists.
