Rapper Dave East, born David Lawrence Brewster Jr. on June 3, 1988, is from the United States. In 2014, the release of his eighth mixtape, Black Rose, helped East advance in his career, which he started in 2010. After hearing about it, fellow New York rapper Nas signed East to his record company, Mass Appeal Records, and later, together with Def Jam Recordings.
