She was coached by Britney Spears during the judges’ home round, and she sang “I’m With You” by Avril Lavigne. She sang a rendition of “Hey, Soul Sister” on the first live broadcast on October 31, 2012, however she was eliminated the next day, November 1, 2012, when Spears picked Arin Ray as the winner of a sing-off between her and another contestant. Within a span of a week, on November 7, 2012, she re-entered the competition via a wild card and quickly moved up the ranks to become one of the Top 13. During that week, she once again won over the panel of judges with her performance of “I Have Nothing,” and she was promoted to the Top 12 of the competition.

On November 14, 2012, she sang the Beyoncé song “Halo,” which sent her to the Top 10 of the competition. On November 21, 2012, she performed “Because You Loved Me” by Celine Dion, which propelled her to the Top 8 of the competition. After performing “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World” and “Diamonds” in the show that aired on December 5, 2012, she once again found herself in the bottom two of the competition, this time with Fifth Harmony. She tried to rescue herself this time by performing “I Hope You Dance,” but it was to no use, as she was eliminated and sent home for the second time.

In March of 2013, Diamond White had a guest-starring role on the incredibly successful television comedy ‘The Big Bang Theory.’ Together with the song’s co-writer, Toby Gad, she gave a performance in June of the song “Peace,” which was dedicated to the refugees of the globe. Later on, her role as Sophie was expanded into a recurrent one, and she continued to play the part all the way up until 2015. In the same year (2013), she also started providing the voice for the recurrent character Ruby on the Disney animated television series ‘Sofia the First.’ After four very successful seasons, the program is still going strong.

In November 2017, she disseminated her most recent track, titled “Cleopatron (Drunk On Me),” to the public. The so-called “educational” experiences she gained about various sorts of individuals during the course of her dating life provided the impetus for her to create the song.
