Disturbed Biography and Career:

Disturbed is a heavy metal band from Chicago, Illinois, that was formed in 1994 and has been active ever since. In addition to David Draiman on vocals and guitarist/keyboardist Dan Donegan on guitar and keyboards, the band also includes bassist John Moyer and drummer Mike Wengren. Donegan and Wengren have been active members of the band from its inception, with Moyer stepping over for previous bassist Steve “Fuzz” Kmak and Draiman taking over for original lead vocalist Erich Awalt, respectively, after their departures.

Since the band’s formation in 1997, they have released seven studio albums, five of which have debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 for multiple consecutive weeks.  Disturbed took a hiatus in October 2011, during which time the members of the band worked on various side projects. Disturbed returned in January 2012. It was in June 2015 that the band resurrected, and it was in August 2015 that they released Immortalized, their first album in four years.
