Eliud Kipchoge Biography and Career:

Long-distance runner Eliud Kipchoge, who hails from Kenya, currently holds the world record. At the Berlin Marathon in 2018, Kipchoge established a new world record by running the event in a time that was 1 minute and 18 seconds faster than the previous record.

His time was 2:01:39. Because of his incredible performance and record, he is considered to be “the best marathoner of the contemporary period.”

Kipchoge won the senior 5000-meter race at the Championships in Athletics in 2003, when he was just eighteen years old. He is the current world champion at this event. Kipchoge was born in Kapsisiywa, which is located in Nandi County, Kenya, on September 3, 1970.

His mother, Janet Rotich, gave birth to him, and the runner has no recollection of his father since he was so little when his father died away. He was the youngest of five brothers, and their mother, who worked as a preschool educator, was responsible for his upbringing.
