Fat Mike Biography and Career:

Fat Mike, the vocalist of NOFX and a caustic, hilarious, and brilliant punk rock musician, is the band’s most well-known member. Mike Burkett, who was born in 1967 in Southern California, formed the band False Alarm during his time there. NOFX was created in 1983 by him, Eric Melvin, and Erik Sandin.

With do-it-yourself dedication and focus on quality, NOFX gained worldwide fame and inspired Mike to launch the independent record label Fat Wreck Chords. The band and label continued to be successful long into the second decade of the 2000s.
