His parents were Bill and Madelyn Trainor. He was born on January 21, 1977, in San Diego. His sister is called Liz. This is what he did at the University of San Diego High School. Before it closed in 2005, it was a Catholic, co-ed, college preparatory secondary school. He went to the University of California at Santa Barbara, California, and earned a BFA in Drama. One of the places he learned how to do this was at the “Groundlings School” in Los Angeles. This means that Trainor is in a relationship with actress Jessica Makinson. They first met on the set of “iCarly” in 2008.

Jerry Trainor worked at SeaWorld as a vendor when he was 15. He sold churros and cold drinks to people who came to the park. In 2000, he played Eric in the second season of the MTV show “Undressed,” which was made by British director Roland Joffé. He has been in three episodes in a row (ep 2-4). It was a year after that that he made his big-screen debut in 2001 with the Jake Gyllenhaal-starring movie, “Donnie Darko.” In the movie, he played “The Lanky Kid.” In the movie Evolution, which was made by Ivan Reitman in 2001, he played Tommy. Afterward, he worked for years as a guest star or an uncredited actor on TV shows like “Malcolm in the Middle” and “Boston Republic,” as well as “My Wife and Kids” and “Angel,” before getting his big break in 2004 when he played “Crazy” Steve on “Drake & Josh.”

The way he acts is unique. As the name suggests, Steve works at the same movie theatre as Josh Peck’s character, and he has a bad reputation for being unstable and angry. One of the running jokes in the show is when he yells at things he doesn’t like, no matter how normal and small they seem to other people. In this show, Trainor worked with the show’s creator, Dan Schneider, for the first time. They worked on projects like “iCarly,” “Victorious,” and more. Trainor played Steve again in another show by Schneider, “Sam & Cat.” It was revealed that Steve was institutionalized after “Drake & Josh,” and now has a mask over his face.

Carly Shay’s older brother, Spencer Shay, is played by Trainor in the TV show “iCarly” (2007–12). Spencer is more mature than Carly. Their father, a colonel in the US Air Force, is called to serve in another country. She comes to live with her brother. Spencer is portrayed by Trainor in a way that is off-beat and spontaneous, but he can also be responsible and serious when he needs to be that way. He came back in the TV movies “IGo to Japan” (2008) and “party with Victorious” (a crossover of iCarly and Victorious, 2011). He starred in the 2011 movie “Best Player” with Jennette McCurdy.

Trainor played Vinnie Bassett in the Nickelodeon show “Wendell and Vinnie.” This was his first major role. He agreed with interviewer Kristyn Burtt when she asked him if he felt like going from Nickelodeon’s iCarly to his own show was like graduation day “That’s how it feels. We’re going to college now!” There were 20 episodes of the show before it was canceled after one season on Nickelodeon on February 16, 2013.

He is also very good at being a voice actor. He played Dudley Puppy in Butch Hartman’s animated TV show “T.U.F.F. Puppy” for its three seasons. When he was a child, he also played Will in the American-Irish animated children’s TV show “Doc McStuffins.” Roy in “Star vs. the Forces of Evil,” Commander Cone in “Bunsen Is a Beast!,” and the Purple Guy in “Sky Rat.” They made a video game version of ‘iCarly’ and a second one called ‘IJoin The Click’, and he did the voiceover for Spencer. Project Lore was an in-universe ‘World of Warcraft’ video series that he was in. He also played Commander Michael Sullivan in the ‘Halo’ in-universe podcast called ‘Hunt the Truth’.

He’s also a talented actor, but he also works on other projects, too. There was a time when Trainor and Allison Scagliotti were Drake and Josh. They have known each other ever since. They worked together with Mike O’Gorman, a guitarist and vocalist, and the band “Nice Enough People” was born. Andrew Zuber, a drummer, joined the band later. In the beginning, the band only played songs by other artists. When they found out that O’Gorman was good at writing songs, they started writing and performing original songs. ‘Hanover Hideaway,’ their first EP, was released on June 22, 2016.
