Jinkx Monsoon Biography and Career:

On September 18th, 1987, the renowned actor Jinkx Monsoon, who is recognized for his performance, was born in Portland, Oregon, in the United States of America. In a post he made on Facebook in 2015, Jinkx declared “I do not consider myself to be of the cisgender binary. Michael Abbott is Jinkx’s husband, and the two of them tied the knot in January of 2021. Jinkx, the eldest of four children, was born in 1987 and is a graduate of Grant High School. They came out as homosexual when they were in middle school at DaVinci Arts, where they also received their education. She made her debut as a drag performer at the underground nightclub “Escape” in Portland, Oregon, when she was only 15 years old in the year 2002. In 2006, she relocated to Seattle, Washington, from Portland, Oregon.

Monsoon, a trained vocalist, is one half of the musical pair “The Vaudevillians,” which is a 1920s revival performance. The other half of the combo is Richard Andriessen, also known as Major Scales. The Laurie Beechman Theater on Broadway in New York City was chosen for the performance after she was crowned the winner of Season 5.
