Julien Macdonald Biography and Career:

At the University of Brighton, Julien Macdonald received his education in Fashion Knitwear. After receiving his undergraduate degree, he continued his studies by enrolling in the Master of Arts program at the Royal College of Art in London. Karl Lagerfeld was impressed with Macdonald’s graduation presentation in 1996, and as a result, he appointed him to work as the Head Designer of Knitwear for Chanel as well as for his own personal label.
