Kenneth Fisher was born on November 29, 1950, in San Francisco, California, but he spent most of his childhood in San Mateo, also in California. He is the youngest son of Philip A. Fisher, a stock trader, and Dorothy Fisher, his wife. He took his grandfather’s name.
