Kenneth C. Griffin Biography and Career:

As the son of a building supply exec, Griffin grew up in Daytona Beach, Florida. Griffin’s father worked for General Electric as a project manager and had a variety of other jobs as well. A seed business, tree farms, and an oil business were all inherited by Genevieve Huebsch Gratz, Griffin’s maternal grandmother.
