Lonestar Biography and Career:

In addition to Drew Womack on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, Lonestar also includes Michael Britt on lead guitar and backing vocals, Dean Sam on keyboards, acoustic guitar, background vocals, and Keech Rainwater on bass guitar (drums). After being formed in 1992 by Britt, Sam, Rainwater, lead vocalist Richie McDonald, and bass guitarist/vocalist John Rich, the band has gone on to reach worldwide recognition as a result of their hard work and dedication.

Rich departed the band in 1998 and went on to form the duo Big & Rich with his partner, Chris Brown, which became a successful musical venture.
