Loretta Swit is an American actress most known for her leading role in the comedy–drama series ‘M A S H,’ for which she was awarded two ‘Emmy Awards.’ She was born in Passaic, New Jersey, to parents who were originally from Poland. She started working as a stenographer after she graduated from the ‘Katharine Gibbs School’ in Montclair and received her diploma.
