María Antonieta Collins Biography and Career:

Collins first came to the attention of television viewers in her own country of Mexico while working as a reporter on the Mexican news program “Televisa 24 horas” (1974), Noticiero con Jacobo Zabludovsky. She began her career as a general assignment journalist in California in 1979, while also covering baseball in the Major Leagues for the San Diego Padres and the Los Angeles Dodgers, a job she held until 1986.
