Miami Marlins Biography and Career:
The Marlins have won two National League pennants and two World Series championships in their history (1997 and 2003). The team (which was known as the Florida Marlins until 2011) was founded in 1993 as an expansion team alongside the Colorado Rockies. The Marlins had the worst record in the National League in 2019 (57–105).
Despite the fact that the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the club stunned many by making the playoffs for the first time in 16 years the following year. The Marlins had a dismal season in 2021, finishing at the bottom of the American League standings despite high hopes.
