Nadeshot Biography and Career:

American former professional Call of Duty player Matthew Haag, also known as Nadeshot (formerly styled as NaDeSHoT), was born on August 3, 1992. He was the objective support role player for OpTic Gaming during the 2014 Call of Duty: Ghosts season and the 2014–2015 Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare season.

He is the founder, co-owner, and CEO of the esports team 100 Thieves (100T). Haag, who won Best eSports Player at The Game Awards 2014, is a gold medalist in Major League Gaming (MLG) X Games 2014 and a 2011 Call of Duty XP World Champion.

He participates in the Twitch streaming programme and was formerly a Red Bull esports athlete[6]. Several gaming hardware manufacturers, like as Astro Gaming and Scuf Gaming, have supported Haag in the past. He also has a YouTube channel, which has more than 3.2 million subscribers and more than 270 hours of video footage.

Jeff and Chris Haag welcomed Haag into the world on August 3, 1992.  His sister and brother are siblings. Haag graduated in 2010 from Amos Alonzo Stagg High School in Palos Hills, Illinois. He also finished a two-year business studies course at Moraine Valley Community College .

Haag worked at a McDonald’s before participating in competitive gaming. The name of Haag’s character in video games, “NaDeSHoT,” comes from the fatal move known as “grenade shoot” in the Halo series. Haag played the first-person tactical shooter Halo 2 competitively as an amateur before switching to the Gears of War series after receiving the game for Christmas.

He came one slot short of qualifying for MLG Chicago in Gears of War play in 2007. At the age of 16, he made his professional debut on Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare after competing in his first professional online tournament in 2008.

Haag and his squad finished in second place in the MLG Columbus competition that served as the season opener, falling to FaZe in the Grand Final. OpTic and Haag suffered a painful defeat because, up to the championship match, they hadn’t lost a map.

OpTic appeared to have everything under control until they faced Faze Clan in the championship round. Faze narrowly prevailed after forcing a second best-of-five series. At UMG Orlando, Haag participated in the second tournament with OpTic.

This time around, Haag and his squad came in first. They went 0-2 on the first day of the competition, but his side recovered and won their other two games in pool play on the following day. OpTic defeated Stunner Gaming in the championship match, 3-1, to claim victory on Championship Sunday.

The following 12 teams made the cut for Pro League Season 1: Prophecy, FaZe, Justus, Aware, Automatic Reload, EnVyUs, Denial, eLevate, Rise Nation, Squad KaLiBeR, OpTic Nation, and OpTic Gaming. Haag’s team was among them.

The members of Haag’s team right now are Matthew “Formal” Piper, Seth “Scumpii,” and Ian “Crimsix” Porter. OpTic Gaming finished with a 38-6 record in the MLG Season 1 Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and earned the top seed for the playoffs, which they played in and won with a $75,000 prize fund.

NaDeSHoT’s OpTic Gaming entered the competition with the goal of becoming the first team to win a LAN tournament without losing a map. They then faced a novice team called Aware Gaming, whom they defeated 3-1, although this prevented them from becoming the first team to win an event without dropping a map.

They proceeded to defeat Rise Nation 3-0. After barely defeating Team Kaliber 3-2 in the winners bracket final, they advanced to the grand finals where they defeated Denial eSports 3-0 to win the competition twice in a row. After winning at the X Games during the Call of Duty: Ghosts season, this was Haag’s second victory in an MLG competition.

On April 4, 2015, NaDeSHoT made the decision to resign as captain and a player for OpTic Gaming. He declared that in addition to joining OpTic as a co-owner, he will work as a full-time content developer. Damon “Karma” Barlow took his place in the lineup.

In 2011, he won “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3,” taking home the trophy and $100,000 in addition to the $400,000. His team also received $100,000. Then in 2013, he participated in the Xbox One “MLG X Games,” where his team defeated Evil Geniuses 3-1 in the semifinal round before competing against “Team Kaliber” in the final.

He first won the “MLG Championship” trophy in Texas that year, and he was given the honour of being named the “esports Player of the Year” in 2014. He won the MLG championship for a second straight year by defeating “Denial eSports” the following year.

In 2015, he announced that he will resign from his position as OpTic Gaming’s pro squad captain. The following year, he founded his own gaming team, the “100 Thieves/”Hundred Thieves.” His group entered the Call of Duty World League during the Black Ops III season.

Later, the team expanded into League of Legends and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, bringing on the ex-Immortals team for CS: GO in late 2017 and League players like Meteos and Aphromoo. Australian Renegades were added in October 2019 when the group re-joined CS:GO.

His tenacity and commitment to developing as a player helped him win numerous championships. His cute “boy-next-door” looks have earned him a considerable female fan base. But his exceptional gaming skills are what have made him more well-known. He became well-known for his gaming skills on a global level at the age of 16.

At the age of 24, he now runs a prestigious gaming organisation. Because of his modesty, he has been able to succeed, and he enjoys meeting his fans and guiding newbies to the game. He won the Call of Duty XP World Championship in 2011 and the gold medal at the 2014 Major League Gaming (MLG) X Games.

He received the Best eSports Player honour at The Game Awards 2014 title. He also now streams on Twitch and has competed in Red Bull esports in the past. He has received prior assistance from several gaming hardware producers, most notably Astro Gaming and Scuf Gaming. In the future, his predicted net worth will be $10 million.
