Norah O’Donnell Biography and Career:
Norah O’Donnell was born in San Antonio, Texas, on January 23, 1974. She is most recognised for her roles in Blue Bloods (2010), CBS This Morning (1992), and The Good Wife (1992). (2009). Since June 9, 2001, she has been married to Geoff Tracey.

O’Donnell served as a commentator on the Today Show, Chief Washington Correspondent for MSNBC, and White House correspondent for NBC News. He also contributed as an anchor to MSNBC Live and Weekend Today. O’Donnell contributed to NBC News broadcasts such as NBC Nightly News, The Today Show, Dateline NBC, and MSNBC. O’Donnell served as a stand-in host for Chris Matthews on Hardball with Chris Matthews and was a frequent contributor to The Chris Matthews Show.
She has acted as anchor on several of CBS’s highest-rated shows since joining the network, including standing in for Scott Pelley on the CBS Evening News on multiple occasions, the first being on October 10, 2011. She served as chief White House correspondent in 2011 and 2012 and joined CBS This Morning as a co-anchor in the fall of 2012. On May 6, 2019, Susan Zirinsky, president of CBS News, announced that O’Donnell had been named anchor and managing editor of the CBS Evening News, effective July 15, 2019. She is the third woman to serve as the program’s nighttime anchor, following Connie Chung and Katie Couric. Her final CBS This Morning appearance occurred on May 16, 2019.
