‘All in the Family,’ ‘Maude,’ ‘One Day at a Time,’ ‘Good Times,’ ‘The Jeffersons,’ and ‘Sanford and Son’ are some of the groundbreaking television sitcom series that were developed by American television writer, producer, and political activist Norman Milton Lear. He is best known for his work on these shows. At various periods in time, Lear had a joint ownership stake in the businesses Tandem Productions, T.A.T. Communications, Avco Embassy Pictures, and Embassy Communications, Inc. Later on, he established the production company known as “Act III Communications,” where he now works as chairman.
