Teaching youngsters about the history of Asian Americans and the achievements they have made, addressing mental health issues within Asian communities, and bridging the gaps in politics and other areas are some of the new initiatives that are being made to put an end to hatred and heal communities.

Immediately, I had a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. I made a couple calls to get more information about the event, notified our station to let them know about it, and shared the footage on several social media platforms. I gave my father a call and cautioned him not to go out walking by himself for the umpteenth time. Co-anchor of Action News on Sunday mornings and the Consumer Investigative Reporter for 6abc, Nydia Han is also a Troubleshooter for the network.
