Omotola Jalade Ekeinde Biography and Career:

Omotola Jalade Ekeinde Listen is a Nigerian actress, singer, and philanthropist. She was also a model born Ekeinde Omotola Jalade on February 7, 1978. Ekeinde made her debut in the Nollywood film industry in 1995, and since then, she has acted in over 300 films, which have sold millions of copies together. Omotola is the second Nigerian and the first Nigerian celebrity to have her Facebook profile earn more than one million likes.

Her first significant part was in the movie Mortal Inheritance (1995), in which she portrayed a sickle-cell sufferer who struggled for her life despite the low likelihood of survival. At the 1997 Movie Awards, she was recognized as the “Best Actress in an English Speaking Movie” and the “Best Actress Overall” for her performance in Mortal Inheritance.
