The Nigerian doctor and minister is Paul Idoko Enenche. He is a founder and senior pastor in Abuja, Nigeria at the Dunamis International Gospel Centre.

Enenche was born in Otukpo, Nigeria, Benue State. He is a native of the Benue State, Nigeria, ethnic group of Idoma. His medical certificate was removed and he proceeded to Abuja to establish a church.

On 10 November 1996, Dunamis International Gospel Center was created. The inaugural Sunday service was held in the 10th Arts and Culture Center in Abuja.  In June 1997, the church moved to its present premises (Area 1, Garki Abuja). Every Sunday the church holds six services and every Wednesday two.

On 14 September 2014, the church was built in Abuja to build the Lord’s Garden, the International Headquarters of the Church. Bishop David Oyedepo came to lay the cornerstone of the project. The International Conference Centre, the Glory Dome in the Lord’s Garden, contains 75 000 seats. The occasion was a meeting of various branch churches throughout the FCT, Abuja and surroundings that purportedly came for an ultra-modern project.

Enenche launched a training programme for Bible leaders and prospective pastors called the Dunamis School Of Ministry (DUSOM). Enenche and his wife, Becky, are co-authors of ‘Destiny Seminars,’ a monthly daily devotional guide.

Enenche is the supervisor of the Church’s Destiny Academy and Destiny College. He is also the supervisor of the church-managed publications of Destiny. The church began its own Nigerian satellite TV station by establishing the Dunamis TV/Radio. The main objective of the media is the evangelization of the globe for Christ, presenting its messages conspicuously on the satellite with more than three million viewers.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria commended Enenche for his support and prayer for the administration and the country during one of his visits to the Dunamis International Gospel Centre.

In various sections of the country, Enenche’s Ministry also provides social facilities such as roads, power supply, classrooms and school facilities, water supplies and health centres.

Paul Enenche grew up as a Methodist but was actively involved with the Deeper Life Campus Fellowship when he enrolled in the University of Jos. Paul Enenche’s experience of salvation is unique, since he pointed out that, after a succession of inner convictions and inquiries regarding his eternity, he repented. He really started to follow the Lord on campus with the church of the Deeper Life Bible, being the church he continued.

Paul Enenche was always known as a man with an undeniable devotion for God. As a medical student Paul Enenche remarks that when he hears of the death of a patient, he becomes miserable with ideas about how the patient might have survived if he can. Therefore, it had always been something to evangelise patients throughout their stay. To pray for the sick and preach to them while doing his duty as a doctor, with many miracles ascribed to these meetings.

Paul Enenche met his wife Becky Enenche on the university with Becky more like a spiritual daughter yet remaining zealous for God. Both fell in love and married in 1994, as the Lord wanted. Becky Enenche herself is a physician whose parents were physicians. They’re married to four kids. Becky Enenche supported her husband very much with the inspiration of her model happy marriage.

The church of Dunamis was founded in 1996, two years after Paul married Becky. The church began to gather in a hall before the country obtained its first premises. Currently, the church moved along Abuja Airport road from the former headquarters to its current headquarters. The Glory Dome as it is named can host 100,000 worshipers every Sunday with several services. The Glory Dome commitment in 2018 was incredibly large with many dignitaries there including Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Vice President of Nigeria.
