Queen Latifah Biography and Career:

Known professionally as Dana Elaine Owens, Queen Latifah is a multi-talented African-American entertainer and businesswoman. To Tommy Boy Music’s notice, Latifah was instantly signed. ‘Wrath of My Madness’ was her debut song released by this record label in 1988. In 2013, a new episode of her program premiered. She’s also emceed a slew of award shows. She made an impact on the stage in ‘Bessie’ in 2015. In this HBO biopic, she played famous vocalist Bessie Smith. For this portrayal, Latifah was nominated for an Emmy and a Golden Globe.
