Roger Staubach Biography and Career:

Staubach was a businessman, Heisman Trophy winner, and iconic Hall of Fame quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys from 1969 to 1979. For nine of the Cowboys’ record-breaking twenty straight winning seasons, Staubach was a key part of their development into one of their finest teams of the 1970s. Dallas won their first Super Bowl, and Staubach was awarded MVP of the game as a consequence. Legendary Cowboys head coach Tom Landry said Staubach “perhaps the finest combination of a quarterback, an athlete, and a leader to play in the NFL.”

When he was chosen as the starting quarterback for the Navy football team in 1962, Staubach became a national sensation.
