California-based San Francisco 49ers football club that competes in the National Football League (NFL). The squad is headquartered in Santa Clara, California (NFL). The San Francisco 49ers have won five Super Bowl triumphs (1982, 1985, 1989, 1990, and 1995) and seven National Football Conference (NFC) crowns over their illustrious history.
The San Francisco 49ers were founded in 1946 and were members of the All-American Football Conference (AAFC).
