Travis Scott Biography and Career:

Travis Scott is a rap artist, singer, and songwriter from the United States. He was given the stage name Jacques Webster when he was born, and he rose to prominence after signing his first big label contract in 2012 with Epic Records. He closed off the year on a successful note by signing a contract with Kanye West’s GOOD Music’s, VERY GOOD Beats label. He did not look back. As a way to recognize his affiliation with the label, he appeared on the compilation titled “Cruel Summer” in 2012. In April of 2013, Scott also inked a contract with the Grand Hustle record label, which is owned by T.I. In the same year, he announced his arrival in the music world by releasing his first full-length mixtape under the moniker “Owl Pharaoh.” Scott’s career as a rapper and vocalist took off with the release of his second mixtape, titled “Days Before Rodeo,” in August of 2014.
