Witney Carson Biography and Career:

Witney Capri McAllister  (née Carson; born October 17, 1993) is an American choreographer and professional Latin ballroom dancer. When the then-18-year-old placed second among women in season nine of So You Think You Can Dance, she initially came to public prominence. As a troupe dancer in Dancing with the Stars seasons 16 and 17, Carson continued her professional dancing career in the beginning of 2013. In season 18, she received a promotion to professional partner.

She and her partner Alfonso Ribeiro were named the winners of season 19 on November 25, 2014, making her one of just six professional dancers to do it within their first two seasons. Ribeiro had to wait ten years for his win. She was nominated for the Outstanding Choreography Primetime Emmy Award for that season.

She rejoined with Ribeiro in 2019 to co-host the Catch 21 revival.  Carson has collaborated with a variety of dancers and choreographers over the course of her dancing career, including Mia Michaels, Nappytabs, Travis Wall, Sonya Tayeh, Tyce Diorio, Mark Ballas, Derek Hough, and Stacey Tookey.
