Angela Dorian Biography and Career:

Victoria Vetri is a model and actress born in the United States on September 26, 1944. She is also known by the names Angela Dorian and Victoria Rathgeb. Vetri was born to Italian immigrant parents at the Queen of Angels Hospital in Los Angeles, California, in the United States of America.

Between 1959 and 1963, she was a student at Hollywood High School and then studied painting at Los Angeles City College. In her teenage years, she launched her career in both acting and modeling. When Vetri was a senior in high school, West Side Story director Robert Wise contemplated putting her in the role of Maria; however, the studio ultimately decided to cast Natalie Wood in the role.

“Due to her Italian heritage,” Vetri was often cast in ethnic parts on television during the early stages of her career. For example, she played a Native American in the television show Cheyenne and a Mexican in the show Wagon Train. She also secured parts in films that required her to portray people of other ethnicities, such as a Mexican in the 1967 film Chuka and a member of an ancient Maya society in the 1963 film Kings of the Sun.

She was billed as Angela Dorian in the film Rosemary’s Baby, released in 1968, and Vetri had a small role in the movie. On Saturday, law enforcement in Hollywood arrested Dorian, whose actual name is Victoria Vetri.
