Cate Blanchett Biography and Career:

Cate Blanchett is an Australian actress and theatre director who has won an Academy Award. She is most recognized for her roles as Elizabeth I of England in the film “Elizabeth” and as Katharine Hepburn in “The Aviator.” Blanchett is a four-time recipient of the Helpmann Award for the title of “Best Female Actor in a Play,” in addition to her work in the cinema industry.
