Elijah Blake Biography and Career:
Elijah Blake is the stage name of Dominican-American singer, songwriter, and record producer Sean Fenton, born on June 4, 1992. His stage name is best known as Fenton. He penned songs for artists such as Keyshia Cole, Rick Ross, and Rihanna, and he also helped Usher write “Climax,” the R&B song that reached number one. Blake acquired a recording contract with Atlantic Records when he was 16 and collaborated with Trey Songz on the album Ready, released in 2009.
Blake released his first mixtape, Bijoux 22, in December 2012. The mixtape included the song “X.O.X.,” which was co-written by Blake and featured Common. In 2014, he created an extended play titled “Drift.”The song “I Just Wanna” was released as a single by Blake in March of 2015, and it was included on his album “Shadows & Diamonds.” Jordin Sparks, a pop and R&B singer, was his collaborator on the new EP “1990 Forever,” which was published on April 5, 2019.
Elijah says, “I remember how powerful it was hearing Jordin’s vocals for the first time watching ‘American Idol’ surrounded by the whole family, and it still rings the same today.” Elijah is speaking about his collaboration with Jordin Sparks. The only thing that’s changed is that she is now a member of my family. She and I have supported each other through this artistic journey for many years, and our passion for duets from the ’90s remains deep.
Very profound. It was the impetus for our first collaboration and continues to serve as the linchpin of our successful musical partnership. This collaboration was inspired by several of Avant and Keke Wyatt’s songs, including “One Sweet Day,” “Spend My Life With You,” and pretty much all of their other work. I hope the audience can hear growth in terms of sound from where we began with the ‘1990 Forever’ project to where we are now.
Jordin Sparks, now famous worldwide as the winner of the sixth season of American Idol, released her first song, “This Is My Now,” shortly after she took home the title. She then released “Tattoo,” which has had over 110 million listens on Spotify since its release. In 2007, she released her first album, named after her, including Chris Brown on both “Tattoo” and “No Air.” The song “No Air” appeared at number three on the Billboard Hot 100 list.
Jordin first published her album, Right Here Right Now 2015, and followed it up with Cider & Hennessey in 2020. On their latest collaboration, “Deaux,” Jordin Sparks and Elijah Blake can be heard singing together again. The song is another fantastic collaboration between the two musicians who previously released the undervalued EP “1990 Forever” together. The E.P. was issued by the two artists jointly. The song is his first release after his last album, “The Neon Eon,” published in 2021.
LimeWire has collaborated with several artists, including Soulja Boy, Elijah Blake, A$AP TyTy, and many more, to produce a one-of-a-kind metaverse concert. This past week, the LimeWire stage in Decentraland played home to a bevy of well-known musicians as part of the Metaverse Music Festival. Among those who performed there were Big Draco, Blake, TyTy, Quincy, EscapePlan, and Lil Bitcoin.
Over the event’s four days, seventeen different musicians were performing. LimeWire also offered participants digital merchandise, such as digital shoes and glasses. The event’s main stage also served as the location of an abundant V.I.P. section for those who had LimeWire original NFTs. Soulja Boy was instrumental in helping the firm launch these in July.
Elijah began garnering gold records and critical acclaim shortly after getting a recording contract with a big label at 16. He was awarded the Grammy for Best R&B Performance for his work as a co-writer on Usher’s smash song “Climax” in 2012. After contributing to Rihanna’s song “Unapologetic,” he didn’t spend much time in the composing room before performing the music in front of a microphone.
Elijah Blake, a singer, and composer who has won two Grammy Awards, has been responsible for writing songs for some of the most successful artists in the pop and R&B genres. He has worked with Usher, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, DIPLO, Britney Spears, Common, Alicia Keys, and Mary J. Blige, and now he is transitioning from working behind the scenes to performing on stage. Since its release in August, his second album, Audiology, has received more than two million listens online.
