Jonathan Marc Bairstow is a professional cricketer from England. He is a right-handed hitter who also serves as a wicketkeeper. Bradford Bairstow plays cricket for the Yorkshire County Cricket Club in the English Premier League. The cricketing inclination in Bairstow dated back to his boyhood. During the 2015 Ashes series, Jonny was excluded from the first two tests but returned for the next three matches to complete the series for England. He contributed to England’s victory in the fourth Test with a score of 74.

When England played Pakistan in a series in Abu Dhabi, he was named to the squad. His batting performance was mediocre, and he only managed one half-century in the whole series, which was a disappointment. English players suffered a defeat, and the team was down 2–0 in the series.
