Juan Soto Biography and Career:

Juan José Soto Pacheco is a Dominican professional baseball outfielder currently playing for the San Diego Padres of Major League Baseball (MLB). He was born on October 25, 1998. He has Major League Baseball experience, having played for the Washington Nationals. In 2015, Soto became a National as an international free agent by signing with the team. In 2018, he debuted in Major League Baseball and finished as the runner-up for the National League Rookie of the Year Award.

As a result of his significant contributions in 2019, the Nationals won their first World Series triumph, and the Babe Ruth Award was given to him. In 2020, he had a batting average of.351, which earned him the title of National League Batting Champion. After Howie Kendrick, who plays both second base and outfield, suffered an injury, the Washington Nationals decided to strengthen their outfield by calling him up to the big leagues for the first time. Soto debuted with the major companies on May 20, 2018, at 19 years and 207 days, making him the youngest player in the big companies. He was also the first player born in 1998 to participate in a major league game.

When Soto was called up to the big leagues in June 2018, not long after that, Baseball America ranked him as the top prospect for the Nationals, surpassing fellow outfielder Victor Robles.
