From 2006 to 2010. She remained with the network until 2010.

Between 2010 and 2011, she contributed her time as a reporter on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. The role of Sloan Sabbith, which she played for all three seasons of Aaron Sorkin’s HBO political drama series The Newsroom (2012–2014), brought her widespread recognition. Other roles that Munn has played include a recurring one on the television series Beyond the Break (which aired from 2006 to 2009), as well as supporting appearances in the comedic films Big Stan (2007) and Date Night (2010), the superhero picture Iron Man 2 (2010), and the comedy-drama Magic Mike (2012), which Steven Soderbergh directed.

She lent her voice to the character of Koko in The Lego Ninjago Movie, which was released in 2017, and she also had an appearance in the 2017 season of Six on the History Channel. She was crucial in the science fiction movie The Predator, released in 2018. This was the fourth installment in the Predator film series.

Munn’s parents divorced when she was only two years old, and her mother married a serviceman in the United States Air Force. After moving, the family established their new home in Utah, where they remained until 1986. Afterward, Munn’s stepfather was sent to Yokota Air Base near Tachikawa in Tokyo, Japan. It was there that she spent the years that shaped her personality. She claims that her stepfather was “verbally abusive” and that he treated her poorly.

“When [he] would be screaming his head off in the living room, I would hustle everybody into my room and launch into imitations of teachers or do scenes from movies,” she remembered. “When [he] would be screaming his head off in the living room, I would hustle everybody into my room and launch into imitations of teachers.” And that would divert their attention away from the mayhem that was taking on down the corridor. When Munn was 16 years old, her mother got a divorce from her stepfather and came back to Oklahoma City with the three children.

After spending her junior and senior years at Putnam City North High School, Munn continued her education at the University of Oklahoma, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism while completing minors in Japanese and dramatic arts. Before moving to Los Angeles, Munn completed an internship at the NBC station in Tulsa, where he worked for a while. In 2004, she completed training with Fox Sports Networks, covering college football and women’s basketball games as a sideline reporter.

She expressed dissatisfaction with the opportunity, stating, “I was trying to be something I wasn’t, and that made me uncomfortable on live TV.” Soon after, she relocated to Los Angeles, where she was offered a part in the low-key horror movie Scarecrow Gone Wild, released only on home video. She played the love interest of lead vocalist Justin Mauriello in the music video for the song “Hello Tomorrow” by the rock band Zebrahead.

In addition, she co-starred with Kato Kaelin in the National Lampoon movie “Strip Poker,” which was shot in the nudist resort Hedonism II in Negril, Jamaica. The films were shown on the pay-per-view services DirecTV and In Demand. Late in 2005, Munn debuted the character of teenage surfer Mily Acuna in the television drama Beyond the Break, which ran for two seasons and was shown during the time slot known as The N on Noggin.

She finds satisfaction in surfing and continues to compete in it. She first tried out for the part of Kai Kealoha, but the producers were looking for a “local girl” instead. In addition, you may see her in the movie “The Road to Canyon Lake.”Attack of the Show is a popular program on the G4 network, and in 2006, Munn won a contest that was open to the general public to choose a new co-host to replace Kevin Rose, who was leaving the show. After that, on April 10, she started sharing hosting duties with Kevin Pereira.

She took over for Sarah Lane, who was filling in temporarily. At first, the network that is wholly committed to the world of video games and the culture surrounding video games was reluctant to recruit Munn. Date Night (2010) and Iron Man 2 (2010) featured her in starring roles as an actress. Munn received accolades from Robert Downey Jr. for her improvisational abilities, and he was the one who led the group in a round of applause.
