Tessa Virtue Biography and Career:

Tessa Virtue is a former Canadian ice dancer who, along with her partner, Scott Moir, has won two ‘Olympic’ championships (in 2010 and 2018), three ‘World Championship’ titles (in 2010, 2012, and 2017), eight ‘National Championship’ titles (in 2008–2010, 2012–2014, and 2017–2018), and three ‘Four Continents’ championships (in 2008, 2012, and 2017).

Since they first started taking dance classes together, they have been actively performing together. They began their historic adventure in competition dance in 2006, when they won their very first and only ‘World Junior’ title. Tessa’s leg injury, which resulted in several surgical procedures, slowed down the winning run she and her team had been on.

Tessa’s athletic background included figure skating and training in ballet, modern dance, gymnastics, track, and various other sports and hobbies.
