Angelina Jordan Biography and Career:

Angelina Jordan is a Norwegian singer born on January 10, 2006. During her audition for the 2014 season of Norway’s Got Talent, she sang “Gloomy Sunday” like Billie Holiday. The video of her performance became viral online and garnered her global press coverage when she was only seven years old. Angelina Jordan is now ten years old.

She sang “Summertime” by George Gershwin, which led to her eventual victory in the competition, which she won when she was eight. Since that time, she has made it her mission to help generate millions of dollars for charitable organizations that support children and the environment all around the globe. After making friends with a little girl who had no shoes and offering them to her, she decided to perform without shoes from that point on.

As a result of writing a book on the event, Jordan became the youngest author to publish a book in Norway. Several digital singles, two extended plays (EPs), and an album titled It’s Jordan has published magic. She sang a cover version of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” on the first season of Little Big Shots in 2016 and on the second season of America’s Got Talent: The Champions in 2020. Her performance on both shows helped her get a lot of recognition.

Since 2018, Jordan has called the United States of America his home. It was revealed in August 2020 that she had signed a recording contract with Republic Records. The song “Million Miles” was her first single under that label and was released in November of 2020.After Jordan’s renditions of two Billie Holiday songs on Norway’s Got Talent, “Gloomy Sunday” and “I’m a Fool to Want You,” and after Jordan’s performance of “Fly Me to the Moon” on a TV chat show. Both songs were performed by Billie Holiday.

In March of 2014, all of this became quite popular online, and she was featured in articles published by Time, the Daily Mirror, People, and other news sites from all over the globe.[She progressed further in the competition by performing Nancy Sinatra’s rendition of “Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)” live in the semi-finals, and she won with her performance of George Gershwin’s “Summertime” in the manner of Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong’s 1958 recording of the song.

She had a performance of “Fly Me to the Moon” on the American television program The View in September 2014, which catapulted her to a greater level of recognition in the United States. She also gave performances on several shows that aired on TV 2 in Norway over the next several years, including many appearances on the program Allsang p Grensen (which translates to “Singalong at the Border” and refers to the border stronghold of Fredriksten, where outdoor concerts are staged) and on TV4 in Sweden.

A girl who sings at a bar is the character that Jordan played in the last episode of the Netflix series Lilyhammer. Her part was a short guest appearance. She was able to fulfill a portion of her lifelong dream of singing at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert in December 2014 when she was invited to sing at the Save the Children Peace Prize Celebration in honor of Malala Yousafzai and Kailash Satyarthi, who had both been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

In December 2014, Jordan debuted as a music artist by releasing the maxi-single titled “My Christmas,” which had three songs. To promote the album, Jordan gave live performances of the songs on several different television programs, including one on Christmas Day. Jordan started producing music in 2015, and on November 27, 2017, her first extended play (EP) titled Angelina Jordan – The EP was made available to the public. The EP contains six songs.

The music videos and lyric videos for several of the songs have been uploaded to her official YouTube account a significant amount of time before the EP was made available for purchase. The music video for “I Put a Spell on You” by Screamin’ Jay Hawkins was directed by Per Heimly, and one of Jordan’s renditions of Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black” included Jordan singing her original lyrics to the song. By 2020, these two music videos had accumulated more than 5 million views, making them the most popular videos on her official YouTube account.

In 2017, she launched a second YouTube channel dedicated to showcasing her interpretations of cover songs. Mellom to hjerter, which translates to “Between Two Hearts,” was written by Jordan and released in November 2015 under her name. The illustrations for the book were done by Jordan’s grandmother, the Iranian artist Mery Zamani. The book relates the narrative of how she befriends a disadvantaged child in the Middle East who is shoeless and does not have a mother.

Following a lengthy discussion during which they shared their hopes and aspirations for the future, Jordan gave the child a pair of her shoes in exchange for the girl’s vow to pray that Jordan would realize her ambition of becoming a famous singer. According to Jordan, the story in the book is based on an actual event that occurred to her when she was six years old. Jordan attributes the fact that she usually performs barefoot to this event.

On the first season of the children’s talent program Little Big Shots, which did not feature a competition, Jordan performed “Fly Me to the Moon” in April 2016. After a year, she returned to the program to sing “What a Difference a Day Makes” for the audience in the UK. She also sang “I Put a Spell on You” on the German version of Little Big Stars competition program in 2017.

She performed on Alan Walker’s Heading Home in December 2016, a live concert broadcast from Bergen, Norway. She sang “Sing Me to Sleep” and “Faded” by Walker during her set.
