Anitta Biography and Career:
Anitta was born on March 30, 1993, in Rio de Janeiro parents Mauro Machado and Miriam Macedo. One of her two siblings is Renan Machado, an elder brother who also works as her artistic producer. She is of mixed African, Brazilian, and European ancestry.
Growing up in the destitute Honrio Gurgel slum of Rio de Janeiro, Anitta was raised only by her mother. When she was 8 years old, she began singing in the “Santa Luzia Church Choir.” She started taking dancing and English courses when she was 11 years old.
