His parents raised Corbin, a film producer, and actress, in the Los Angeles suburb of North Hollywood. Both of his parents worked in the entertainment industry. After doing so, he was given his major break in the entertainment business in 1986 when he started starring as ‘Arnie Becker,’ a law firm partner, in the courtroom drama series ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.’ This series not only lasted for a total of eight seasons, but it also maintained a spot among the top-rated programs on television during the whole decade. Corbin appeared in 171 series episodes and swiftly ascended to the top of the list of the show’s actors who received the most critical acclaim. Because of his role in the series, he was considered for several prizes, including a Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy, among other honors.

Corbin was rocketed to the top of the Hollywood popularity heap due to the success of ‘L.A. Law,’ he was requested to appear on the covers of reverential publications.
