She is most recognized for her appearances as Michonne on the AMC horror drama series “The Walking Dead” and as Okoye in the Marvel superhero flicks “Black Panther” and “Avengers: Infinity War.” Danai Gurira is an American actress and writer who was born in Zimbabwe. She is best renowned for her work in both of these roles.
