Dylan Baker Biography and Career:

Dylan Baker is a well-known American actor born on October 7th, 1959. In the movies Planes, Trains, and Automobiles (1987), Happiness (1998), Thirteen Days (2000), Road to Perdition (2002), Spider-Man 2 (2004), Spider-Man 3 (2007), Trick ‘r Treat (2007), Revolutionary Road (2008), Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (2013), and Selma (2014), he played roles that brought him widespread acclaim.

His most notable performances on television have been in the shows Murder One (1995–1996), The Good Wife (2010–2015), Damages (2011), The Americans (2016), and Homeland (2018). Because of his work on The Good Wife, he was nominated for three Primetime Emmy Awards. As a result of his work in the first production of La Bête, Baker was recognized with nominations for both the Tony Award and the Drama Desk Award in 1991.

His first picture as a filmmaker, 23 Blast, was released the same year (2013) as his debut. Baker received his undergraduate degree in 1980 from Southern Methodist University after completing his studies at the College of William & Mary in Virginia. In the film Road to Perdition, released in 2002, he played the role of Alexander Rance, an accountant for the Chicago Outfit. In both Spider-Man 2 (2004) and Spider-Man 3 (2007), he portrayed the character of Dr. Curt Connors. Baker performed the part of John Trimble, a parent diagnosed with a terminal disease, in the short-lived television series Drive from 2007. In the 2009 season of NBC’s Kings, Baker had the role of William Cross, while his wife, Becky Ann Baker, had the role of Jessie Shepherd, the mother of David Shepherd, the show’s protagonist.

Baker appeared as a theatrical critic in the episode of Monk titled “Mr. Monk and the Critic” as a guest star. Baker appeared as a special guest in the Seizure of House titled “A Pox on Our House,” which aired in November 2010. Baker made a special appearance in the last episode of Burn Notice’s fourth season, playing the role of Raines, an old espionage buddy of Michael’s.
