Lisa Rinna Biography and Career:

Lisa D. Hamlin is an American actress, television personality, and model. Elizabeth Deann Rinna was born in the United States on July 11, 1963. She is most recognized for her performances as Billie Reed on the NBC daytime serial opera Days of Our Lives and as Taylor McBride on the Fox television drama Melrose Place. Her career began in the 1980s. Rinna was a leading cast member on the critically acclaimed reality television series The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which aired on Bravo from 2014 to 2022.

Other jobs on television include guest-starring appearances on programs such as Entourage, The Middle, Veronica Mars, Community, and 8 Simple Rules. He has also competed on NBC’s The Celebrity Apprentice and ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. In June of 2007, Rinna debuted on Broadway as Roxie Hart in the play Chicago.

Rinna returned to the character of Billie Reed in the special Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem miniseries produced by Peacock in 2021. She co-starred with Deidre Hall, Eileen Davidson, and Jackée Harry in the show. She has continued to make guest appearances on many television programs, such as C.S.I., The Middle, The Guest Book, Awkward, and This Close.

During 2002–2006, Rinna presided over the daily lifestyle program known as “Soap Talk” on the cable television network Soapnet. Because of their efforts, she and her co-host Ty Treadway have been nominated for the Daytime Emmy Award four years in a row. At the same time, Rinna hosted Merge, a home remodeling show that aired on Lifetime television for three seasons. In 2007, she also presented the reality competition series Tease on Oxygen for Hairstylists.

She took over for Joan Rivers as the anchor of the awards season red carpet coverage on TV Guide Network and served in that capacity from 2007 to 2009. Rinna was a contestant on the second season of Dancing with the Stars in 2006 when she was partnered with the accomplished dancer Louis van Amstel. Even though she received better scores from the judges than her fellow celebrity dancer Jerry Rice, she was eliminated in round seven due to voting from the crowd. She consistently appeared on Live with Regis and Kelly as a guest co-host.

In 2008, it was claimed by TV Guide that Rinna and Hamlin had secured a contract to make a reality television series centered on their family life. The show would be called “Rinna and Hamlin’s Family Jewels.”On TV Land, the series with the title Harry Loves Lisa debuted on October 6, 2010, and consisted of six episodes. In 2010, she also appeared on the fourth episode of the second season of RuPaul’s Drag Race as a guest judge. This episode was shown throughout the year 2010. Rinna was a contestant on the fourth season of The Celebrity Apprentice in 2011.
