Pat Foley Biography and Career:

Pat Foley is the son of Mary and Bob Foley, and he started his life in Glenview, Illinois, in the year 1954. His educational background includes Loyola Academy and Michigan State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in telecommunications. He is a graduate of both institutions. In the year 1964, Foley was granted permission to enter the radio booth at Wrigley Field, where he sat beside Lou Boudreau and Jack Quinlan, who were the announcers.

After working as a sports announcer at Michigan State University, where he called baseball and hockey games, he started his career in 1977 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he worked as a hockey announcer for minor league games.
