Tammin Sursok Biography and Career:

Tammin Sursok is a South African-born Australian actress and singer. She was born on August 19, 1983 in Australia. She is most recognized for her performances as Dani Sutherland on Home and Away, Colleen Carlton on The Young and the Restless, and Jenna Marshall on Pretty Little Liars, all of which she has played on television. In the city of Johannesburg in the province of Gauteng, South Africa, Sursok was born to the artists Daryl and Julie Sursok.

Her family journeyed to Australia when she was only six years old. Early in her career, Sursok was active in the Sydney Youth Musical Theatre, which allowed her to develop her acting, singing, and dancing talents. In addition to that, she received training at the Trinity College of Speech and Drama. Sursok completed her secondary education at the Ravenswood School for Girls in Gordon, Sydney. She focused on her speech and theater studies during her last years there.

In the fourth week, it continued to decline, falling all the way to position 43. Its run ended on June 20, when it dropped totally off the charts, and it has not charted again since then.

The first song from the album, titled “Pointless Relationship,” entered the ARIA Singles Chart at position No. 7. It spent a total of 15 weeks on the chart, eventually reaching position No. 5. When the song was first made available to the public, it immediately ascended to the top spot on the Australian Top 100 Radio Airplay Chart, becoming the highest charting debut single in several years. Platinum certification was awarded to “Pointless Relationship” in Australia.

The second song, “Whatever Will Be,” had a chart position of No. 13 upon its first release on the ARIA Singles Chart and remained on the list for 18 weeks.[14] The song “Whatever Will Be” peaked at 98 on the list of best-selling singles in Australia for 2005.[14] “It’s a Beautiful Thing” is the third and final single released from Whatever Will Be, and it immediately debuted on the ARIA Singles list at position No. 30.

The song spent 12 weeks on the charts, climbing as high as position No. 6. In its first week of release, “It’s a Beautiful Thing” was the second most downloaded song, behind only “This Is How a Heart Breaks” by Rob Thomas. Additionally, it reached its highest point on the Australian Top 100 Radio Airplay Chart at No. 49, making it her song with the lowest charting position.

Following the critical and commercial success of her album, Whatever Will Be, preparations were made to debut Sursok in the United Kingdom (UK). Still, these plans were abruptly scrapped due to personnel changes at her record company. The song “Whatever Will Be” was recorded by Vanessa Hudgens for her first album, V, which was certified by the RIAA.

In 2006, Sursok moved from Australia to Los Angeles, California, in the United States to focus on her acting career after the failure of her ambitions to go to the United Kingdom.
