UrinatingTree Biography and Career:

Steve Linkowski, better known as UrinatingTree (also known as Schlasser) and born on January 17, 1988 (age 34), is a sports pundit and former video game critic.Under the guise of the Fat Mann Judgeth persona, UrinatingTree wrote video game reviews that were mostly focused on the Sega Genesis and were marked by excessive rage. Additionally, he hosted a series called “Half-Assed Theater” that featured one-shot parodies of particular video games and motion pictures.

His admirers preserved his reviews because he hadn’t updated his YouTube account since he reviewed Dark Castle on the Genesis, and finally it vanished. After going offline for a spell, UrinatingTree reappeared online in 2010 with a new account and even managed to revive his previous YouTube account. He tried a brand-new review format dubbed “Generic Reviews,” where he put more of an emphasis on original writing and ironic humour about himself.

He came back in 2016 with a modest amount of gaming content. He made a permanent comeback in the middle of 2016, completely revamping his channel and putting the emphasis on North American sports teams, primarily the NHL, NFL, and MLB, with sporadic content about the NBA, NCAA, and NASCAR, and more recently, even a little bit of soccer here and there.

Sports Lolcows: A segment devoted to revealing the shortcomings of athletic teams. Even though the teams covered in the series typically have a rich history of success, the series examines what led to the teams’ downfall through the release of videos on them. In the titles of later videos, the teams are no longer referred to as lolcows, but rather various derogatory words, sometimes in relation to their name or city.

A series called A Legacy of Failure, which recaps each subject’s seasons and details how they ultimately failed, focuses on their fundamental weakness—their failure to win championships. The title of a video on a subject is changed to reflect the year that their legacy of failure ended if they win a championship after the video is published.Marty Schottenheimer, Mike Keenan, and the Toronto Maple Leafs all received spin-offs of the series after winning championships prior to their films.

Instead, the videos highlight Scottenheimer’s poor luck in the NFL playoffs, Keenan’s ongoing problems with people around him, and the Maple Leafs’ failure to win the Stanley Cup again following their 1967 victory. An in-depth analysis film before to a significant sporting event, such as the start of a season, the playoffs, the championship game, or the draught, is known as The Haters Guide.

Congratulations, (Team Name)! is a series that often makes fun of clubs for losing recently in the playoffs or for relocating. The material in this series varies, ranging from spotlighting the most embarrassing play(s), comments from UrinatingTree, and/or film/TV/VG video modified to add logos and/or players from the losing and winning teams. However, some movies, which often feature footage of teams’ earlier troubles and their eventual victory, are meant to sincerely congratulate teams on winning their first championship after years of adversity.

This Week in Sportsball: A weekly series summarising NFL games and other relevant events, beginning with the 2017–18 NFL season. Despite ice hockey not utilising a ball, has also produced NHL material. After the debut of the new football league to the league’s closure in April 2019, biweekly AAF episodes started airing in February 2019. Monthly MLB episodes started airing in May 2018.

Days Of Our Steelers is a parody of the television drama “Days of Our Lives” that features Pittsburgh Steelers games and the off-field drama surrounding the team. Tree, a devoted Steelers supporter and self-described “Yinzer,” provides the overwrought narration for the series. It is a spinoff of This Week In Sportsball.

Another This Week In Sportsball spinoff, Sacksonville Abbey, presents Jacksonville Jaguars games in a similar soap opera parody, albeit less frequently than Days Of Our Steelers. This time, the narration is done in a strong British accent à la a PBS presenter.

D.I.V.A. / Raiders of the Lost Season: A spinoff that was originally going to focus on the turmoil that wide receiver Antonio Brown produced on the Oakland Raiders after the Pittsburgh Steelers traded him to Oakland. After Brown was let go by the Raiders, the spinoff was titled D.I.V.A. from Raiders of the Lost Season and concentrated on Brown’s ongoing turmoil.

These videos revisit themes from earlier ones he’s made, keeping up with changes that have occurred after that video’s release (for both the better and worse for the team).

A Postmortem: A series that originally began by discussing recently launched video games that fell short of expectations because of different problems in the background. The series took a break following the documentary filming the 2017 launch of Mass Effect: Andromeda. The series made a comeback in 2019, expanding to semi-professional sports leagues that have subsequently folded, frequently in the course of their first season (examples include the AAF and second incarnation of the XFL)
