Emeli Sandé Biography and Career:

Emeli Sandé is a well-known singer and songwriter from the United Kingdom. She started as a songwriter at a young age and ultimately got into singing. Later, Sandé decided to pursue a music career rather than continue her medical studies. She had already signed a handful of record agreements with major companies. She went on to perform with some of the most popular performers in the United Kingdom before beginning a career as a solo singer in the year 2010.

Before the gifted vocalist even released her first studio album, titled “Our Version of Events,” in 2012, she had already been honored with both a “BRIT” award and a “MOBO” award. Around the same time, Sandé stopped going by her given name, “Adele,” partly because the English singer-songwriter Adele was already a well-known figure by that point. Her first full-length studio album, titled “Our Version of Events,” was issued by “Virgin Records” on February 13, 2012; the album’s first official single, titled “Heaven,” was published on August 12, 2011, before the album’s release.
